School's Ending :D

So we thought we weren't going to get study leave. And to some extent that is still true. However we have found out that we do in-fact finish school on June 4th! And guess what. That's the day before The Sims 3 is released! Also, seeing as I ordered my copy with Play.com (back in November) I could get it early! EVEN BETTER.

So, the exams are coming and the next one is RE, but who cares about RE? Went to Statistics revision after school, and it was rather entertaining. The best bit was at the end when Zanis was talking Russian to his mother on the phone and Billy was 'translating'. It was very, very funny and one of those you have to be there moments.

Sam showed me a pretty great website today during Media, or I should say Free period now. It's called Peters Answers and is a great way to trick your friends!

I am actually surprised I am keeping up the blog posting. Let's see how long it lasts.

iPhone Wallpapers

Ok so I've found some rather cool iPhone wallpapers that I will start using. However my phone is syncing, well was, and has suddenly rebooted into the Apple logo :/ WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I never told it to do this, unless it cras.. oh here it is. It must have crashed XD Anyways.. so here are the pictures I like that are now apart of my Wallpaper Collection.

Todays Happenings

Not a lot happened today for it was maths revision day! Joy! And to top of the glorious news (if you can call it glorious!) I realised I had forgotten my phone! NO INTERWEB FOR THE WHOLE DAY! But I battled on and get through to the other day. The teacher we had period five.. oh, my, god! I wish Mrs Ames was HALF as good as him! He had the class under control and taught us successfully. Pitty he has to work at Beths.

I am currently listening to the April 1tro on music4.com (click here) and unlike the previous ones, I am not impressed. Not really WOW like the others. January's one was by far the best in my opinion.

So I did a clear out of my iMac yesterday and it is running so much better! If you have a Mac, here are a few tips for a smooth running;

• Download and use something called MainMenu. It clears out cache and stuff like that making it run like a dream.
  
• Close unused widgets on your dashboard as even if you're not in dashboard, it still uses up RAM, causing applications you are using to slow down!
  
• Remove unwanted applications. Still got a ton of stuff that you don't use or has expired because it was a trial? Then get AppZapper and use that to remove it. AppZapper finds all files associated with the application and when you click zap, sends them to your trash. Then just empty your trash and all is well in Mac land!
  
• Remove unneeded applications from starting at login by going to System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items. Unticking simply shows it at login. You have to actually click and then click the - button.

So that's what I did and it is going well now!

My life will be complete in 29 Days, 7 Hours, 51 Minutes and 59 Seconds. For those who are like WTF right now, thats how long until I get my mitts on a copy of The Sims 3. Hopefully Play.com will dispatch it so I get it a day before :D Pre-Ordered on the 11th November 2008 XD

So that's about it! Joked around with Amrit some more today about "Feels good on my hair. I LIKE HAIR!" and avoided Charlie as he pissed me off last night. Oh wells.. life goes on :) Oh and got a leaflet about the hirings of a limo! WOO.

Oooh. I was worried that I would forget my username and password for this thing (even though it's the same as my Google account) and so looked for some software to install that will enable me to post here! I found something called Blogo which is very nice!

If you have a mac, download it! It's not free, just £15. Or you could find a serial :P

Howdy / The Sims 3

Hello!
Welcome to my new blog! The last one was about technology.. what the hell was I thinking? How sad! Never mind, I'm back after nearly a year with an updated blog :)

The picture at the top was taken in Comet in Crayford after Nandos; me with my chums haha.

I don't know what to write for this - but if it becomes popular, I shall move it to a proper website (Y).

Had my Media Exam today, 3hours! It was so long, but I think I did alright in it :) It's one of those exams where you get the exam paper a week in advanced! I love those sort of exams.. wish maths was the same ;) But what annoyed me was that the foundation paper was exactly the same as the higher but worded differently, so those poor people on foundation can only get a C at most.. I'm on higher though so I'm good.

What's the latest on swine flu? The last I heard was that there were 23 infections in the UK. Oh sorry mister farmer sir, H1N1... damn political correctness. This video is serious but funny, enjoy!



Ok, so as of now it is 30 day, 4 hours, 15 minutes and 35 seconds until The Sims 3 hits the UK! Luckily it is at the end of a hectic exam week (5 exams, 2 major ones on the same day.. the expression EEK comes to mind!) so I have an excuse to buy and play it all weekend :) It looks soo good and I am following the team on Twitter :) because I'm cool like that!
